Want to learn to make leather goods? Well, you’ve come to the right place! We are Los Angeles’ premier destination to learn the art and craft of leatherworking, exclusively taught by the founder and craftsman behind Amano, Adan.

Adan learned from master craftspeople at the Fashion Institute of Technology, where he earned his degrees in accessories design and business. There, he was taught design theory, pattern making, and construction, and how to apply the art and science of design to creating and selling accessories. He has been making leather goods for over 15 years, and founded Amano in 2021.

Adan believes that craft knowledge should be passed down like folklore, and aims to uphold the one of the oldest traditional crafts in the human experience - Leathercraft. You are the next in line of generations of ancestors who worked with their hands to make tangible, beautiful, and useful heirlooms.
