In this entry-level course, students will be introduced to the art of leatherworking through learning to make their own belt! In this three hour class, we will explore various types of leather, tools, and leathercrafting techniques, and apply what you learn to create your belt from scratch.
Whether understated and elegant, or rugged and utilitarian, each belt is a unique expression of individual style, and suited to a specific need. To design and craft their perfect belt, students may choose from a variety of leather colors and buckle options, and will be carefully guided by Amano's founder and master craftsman, Adan.
Workshops include all materials & tools, as well as light refreshments, and of course, the final product that you make! No prior experience necessary.
